Cement Machinery
We are Cement Machinery manufacturers, exporters, suppliers in Mumbai India. Cement Machinery refers to the specific machinery used in cement production. This is a basic material for any construction process, and thus its production has stages such as raw material processing, grinding, mixing, and packaging. Cement machinery, therefore, is integral to many processes that are undertaken during cement manufacturing and is necessary to ensure the mass production of cement at large scales to cater to the infrastructure demands of projects worldwide.
The process first involves crushers that break down big rocks into small, more workable sizes. The raw materials, which mainly consist of limestone, clay, and other minerals, are then powdered using grinding mills. The resulting powder is mixed in a certain ratio and then heated inside a rotary kiln. Chemical reactions that happen at the extremely high temperatures inside the kiln cause the raw mixture to be transformed into clinker-a solid material, which is further ground into cement.
The clinker is then cooled and ground into a fine powder, which is cement, using ball mills or vertical mills. At this stage, other ingredients such as gypsum may be added to control the setting time. Packers are used to package the finished cement for transport and distribution.
Besides these core machines, other auxiliary equipment needed by this cement production unit includes conveyors used to move materials between various stages, vibrating screens for sorting, and cyclone separators for dust collection in order to maintain clean and efficient operations.
Cement machinery is the complete equipment involved in the process of manufacturing cement, starting with the parts involved in crushing the raw material and grinding it into clinker, the production of cement after grinding the clinker and finally the storage and packaging of the finished product.
What Does Cement Machinery Do?
- Raw Materials Crushing: Crushers are the machines that crush limestone, clay and other materials into small ones.
- Milling and Grinding: The crushed materials are ground into fine powder (raw meal) to produce cement by ball mills and vertical roller mills.
- Clinker Production: Raw meal is heated using kilns to extremely high temperatures (approximately 1450 0 C) to produce clinker, which is the major component of cement.
- Chilling the Clinker: Coolers quickly reduce the hot clinker to be stable and handle.
- Grinding the Clinker: The cooled clinker is ground again (usually with gypsum and additives) by a cement mill to give fine cement powder.
